The Magic of Christmas is a 100% volunteer, non-denominational charity based in the city of Calgary. Our charity thrives off the generosity of others. Without the support of our sponsors, we would be unable to deliver Christmas spirit to thousands of Calgarians every year. All of our donors and sponsors help us move mountains by donating significantly, may it be through finances, gifts, nonperishable food, time, charitable events or publicity. Not a single donation goes unnoticed.

Every Christmas Eve, we load up Calgary Transit buses, magically transformed into “reindeer buses,” with hundreds of gifts and volunteers dressed as Santa and his elves. Then, we do what we do best—deliver Christmas spirit into the homes and hearts of those who need it most.

Sponsorship Opportunities 

Below are some of the programs available for corporate sponsorships. Please contact us for more details on each of the named opportunities below.

Elf Rally Event Sponsor

  • The Elf Rally is an annual event that all volunteer elves and Santas are ask to attend. Attendance at the Elf Rally averages 300 – 400 people. The rally is an opportunity to build excitement for Christmas Eve, to train volunteers, and to recognize sponsors and other supporters.
  • A title sponsorship is available for this event
  • Gift-in-kind snacks are welcome for in person events.

MoC Bears Sponsorship

  • Every year, in addition to visiting families in need on Christmas Eve, Santa and his elves hand-deliver Magic of Christmas branded teddy bears to patients and residents at hospitals, shelters and care centres throughout Calgary. Approximately 3000 teddy bears 🧸are delivered annually. This is a great opportunity for a named sponsor to get a logo on each teddy bear.
  • We are accepting sponsorship requests for this for the 2023 bear order.

Food and Turkey Dinner Hamper Sponsorship

  • Each year the Magic of Christmas provides pantry or turkey dinner hampers to families in need. There is an opportunity here to become a named sponsor for this program.

Santa’s Hot-Shot Sponsorship

Christmas Eve deliveries sometimes require a special delivery from a hot-shot service. These hot shots include delivery of bicycles, Christmas trees, and other large or missing items for families.

Santa’s Workshop Sponsor (aka the warehouse)

  • Santa’s workshop is open year-round. You can help keep the lights on and the workshop open.

PAWty and dog photos with Santa event sponsor

  • Dog photos with Santa and off-leash PawTY event.
  • A title sponsorship is available for this event.
